    DR HEIDI TARCHINI-GLEGG

    Principal Dentist

    Dr Heidi Tarchini-Glegg has over 8 years of experience in dentistry. She started her career in Geraldton, after graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science from UWA. Throughout her career Dr Heidi has completed all aspects of general dental practice, from oral cancer screens, oral hygiene instruction, scale and cleans, crowns bridges and veneers, to root canals, extractions, and restorations.

    She has also performed multiple surgeries under general anaesthetics and mentored new graduate dentists during this time. Dr. Heidi specialises in difficult surgical extractions. Her gentle nature allows her to put nervous patients at ease and manage their concerns confidently and compassionately.

    She has a strong focus on children. By introducing them to the dental practice from infanthood, Dr. Heidi aims to make it a fun experience, preventing future phobias.

    Dr. Heidi provides a family-friendly environment, with modern technology to help be proactive rather than reactive with dental health.

    “I have a strong belief in preventive and minimally invasive dentistry. My aim is to help my patients as well as educate them about the best dental care practices.”

  • Dr Jack Im

    Dentist

    Hailing from New Zealand, Jack is the newest member of the Agile team. He has a calm, friendly demeanour, making sure that patients feel as comfortable as possible during their appointment. Jack graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from the University of Otago.

    Jack has experience in providing dentistry in Dunedin, where he trained, and in Central and South Auckland treating a variety of patients, especially those with high dental needs. He is passionate about making sure all patients, regardless of background, are treated with respect.

    Jack enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in saving teeth through root canal treatments and restorative dentistry. He is motivated to continue learning and further develop his skills through professional development courses.

    Jack is an avid history nerd and enjoys learning about all things history. In his spare time, he also likes cooking and baking, and is excited to see what Geraldton has to offer and explore more of Western Australia!

  • Dr Meg Takiguchi

    Dentist

    Dr Meg is an experienced dentist who graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2016.

    Meg grew up on the outskirts of Tokyo in Japan. After finishing high school in Japan, a desire for an adventure first took her to Canada, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, then to the UK where she earned her Ph.D in Medical Oncology. Meg then spent four years working as a scientist in Melbourne. This is when she realised her desire to pursue a career in dentistry.

    Meg loves dentistry so much that as well as being her profession, she also calls it her hobby. She takes her pride in providing the best dental care possible for every patient. Meg uses a no-pain injection technique, and her patients are often surprised how pain-free dental treatment can be after seeing her. Meg’s gentle, caring yet relaxed manner can put the most anxious patients at ease.

    She is highly skilled in extractions, root canals, and restorative treatments such as fillings and crowns/veneers.

    When she is not at work, her life revolves around spending time with her loved ones. Family caravan adventures around the beautiful Midwest region are enjoyed regularly. Meg has called Geraldton her home since 2021 and loves the lifestyle the Midwest provides. She is a crazy dog lover - you might see her at the beach with her beloved kelpies.

  • Melinda

    Hygienist

    Melinda completed an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene at Curtin University in 2000 and has also completed a Bachelor Degree in Education. Spending many years working in private practice alongside both general dentists and specialist periodontists, Melinda has developed a passion for periodontics and finds creating a healthy smile for her patients very rewarding.

    Melinda loves spending her spare time at our beautiful Geraldton beaches with her family.

  • Jess Kain

    Dental Assistant

    Jess has called Geraldton home since 2014, after relocating from the Northern Territory.

    After graduating from school in 2022, Jess started her role at Agile Dentistry, with Dr Heidi and the team mentoring her and teaching her everything to know about the industry.

    In her spare time, Jess loves keeping herself busy by doing “anything that doesn’t include sitting around all day.” Jess also loves learning new skills when the opportunity arrives.

    Jess is currently studying her Cert 3 and Cert 4 in Dental Assisting and is working towards graduating at the end of 2023.

    Dental Assistant

    Boasting experience working in private practice both here in Geraldton and Mount Gambier in South Australia, Georgia is a very enthusiastic Dental Assistant.

    Over the years, Georgia has learnt many different dental techniques and has continued to develop her skills. Georgia’s favourite part of the job is interacting with patients.

    With a passion for the outdoors, particularly our beautiful Gero beaches, you can find Georgia either in or on the water when she’s not in the clinic.

  • Aimee Paholski

    Dental Assistant & Receptionist

    Relocating to Geraldton in 2019 from Queensland, Aimee is currently studying Certificates III and IV in Dental Assisting. We’re looking forward to celebrating her graduation at the end of 2022!

    Dr. Heidi has trained and mentored Aimee since joining the Agile Team, teaching her everything she knows!

    Aimee loves trying new things and having new experiences. She says she has a new hobby every other week, with some of her recent favourites including squidding, puzzling and learning to play the harmonica!

  • Crystal Finch

    Crystal Finch

    Receptionist / Administrator

    A born and bred Gero local, Crystal worked in various Administration roles before settling down and becoming a Mum of two.

    Joining the Agile team in 2022, Crystal draws on her administration experience to support our dentistry team and our patients. Crystal says, “I delved into the world of Dentistry, and I’m enjoying every part of it. It’s been a wonderful way to break up my routine as well as form some great friendships within the practice.”

    In her time off, Crystal likes to hop in the car to discover new places and share new experiences with her kids. From exploring a new walking track in the bush to finding a new playground, she loves being able to give her children wonderful memories.
